Little Cabin

Turn the Sat Nav off.

Leave the motorway
See the predictable and the safe disappearing in your rear-view mirror.
Make your way through the woods, down to the lakeside and pull up at the Little Cabin.
Step inside.

Things made a certain way. The products of someone’s passion.

Made on benches and foundry floors not a conveyor belt. As raw as the landscape and as lasting. Because well-made doesn’t have to mean perfect and precise. These are products, like the people who created them, with heart and soul. For the Little Cabin is not in a state, it’s in a state of mind. A belief in thinking globally but producing locally. A belief in community and collective respect.
A belief in the idea that the more challenging something is to make, the more rewarding it is to own.
Everything In the Little Cabin bears the traces of the individual in the contours and fabric of what they have fashioned. It’s a long way from the mass produced and the mega-warehouse. It’s a long way from anywhere. But it’s out there, somewhere undiscovered and made by someone uncommon. And If it is out there, it’s in here.
In the Little Cabin.
